As a member of the MCP Performance Group, FINE ARTS FUNDRAISING is eager to assist your organization’s needs through the convenience of virtual shopping or direct donation by interested supporters.
Organization leaders begin the process by determining the arts project which needs funding. Examples include a travel and performance opportunity, a new piece of equipment, or ensemble attire. Leaders and ensemble members will notify their communities through emails, ensemble web sites, and media outlets. In that notification process, supporters will be invited to use this site and designate profit recipients.
Shopping
Customers are invited to shop at this site and have 25% of all purchases go to their arts organization of choice. Products are offered in the following five categories:
Household Essentials
Holidays and Special Occasions
Food Treats
Kitchen
Performing Arts Related Goods
At check out, customers will be asked the name of the organization with which profits are to be shared. They will also have the opportunity to designate a specific person within that organization to whom profits should be assigned. For example, Susan Brown purchases $100 worth of goods from selections at Fine Arts Fundraising. As Susan proceeds to checkout, she will be asked to assign the $25 profit to Blackwater High School Choir. If Susan wants that $25 to go toward expenses incurred by singer Ted Branton at Blackwater High School, she will list Ted’s name and the $25 will then be listed in Ted’s account.
Donation
If customers choose to bypass the purchase of goods, they are invited to donate any amount of money to the arts organization and member of their choice. 100% of that donation goes directly to the designees.
At check out, donors will be asked the name of the organization that is to receive their gift. Donors will also have the opportunity to designate a specific person within that organization to whom this gift should be assigned.
